He's a special little sweetie,
And he's my Valentine.
He loves me more than anyone,
This puppy dog of mine!

He loves to go for daily walks,
Just prances all the way!
He stops sometimes to chase his tail,
Greets all along the way.

Long floppy ears and a curly tail,
Soft like a teddy bear.
Big brown eyes that melt my heart,
Devotion beyond compare.

Still loves for me to pick him up,
And hold him in my lap.
That's still his very favorite place,
Each day to take a nap.

Has had a hard time learning that
Can't chew just anything!
But I think he's going to make it,
In spite of everything!

I think that somehow he does know,
How much he means to me.
He's the sweetest little Valentine,
That a puppy dog could be!
