This Thanksgiving day approaches
Oh how I shake and shutter
Have you ever heard
a Turkey "gobble" stutter?
Out into the woods they come lookin'
just for me
And I stutter, "Gob....Gob...."
as I try to flee
I can't get the full "Gobble" out
'Cause I start runnin'
Well, you'd stutter too if you knew
what they're gonna do
when in the woods they're comin'
Here I go tryin' to get away
with all my might
I hear a shout.....
"Don't run Turkey....
Come to our dinner......
It's you we want to invite"


Yeah right...
Me they want to invite
And away I got, so I thought
I got grabbed....
Yep....I was caught


Took me home they did
with a tear in my eye
"Awww Mr. Turkey" they say
"Please don't cry"


"Come and sit right there"
"What" I asked, "You don't want me
in the middle of the table
but sitting on a chair?"


"That's right Mr. Turkey
because this place is the best
You're NOT dinner
You're here as OUR GUEST"


Well, I always thought that
eating turkey was so barbarian
O Thank You....
Thank You....
Thank You Lord
For this family that is
VEGETARIAN !!
