Thank you for the gift you bore This child of your heart, Who became my dear companion From the life you could impart. You gave of all your nurture To form this one I love, I pray God overflows your days With blessing from above. I'm glad for all your mothering The life in you that shines, In God's delight, He gave to me Your best, for me to find.
